So My husband, Matt took most of the pictures here...I finally ditched the camera...lol
This blog follows both my personal and professional life, featuring my children, photography jobs, and of course, my love for animals. It's basically my own personal photo album combined with an information source for my current and potential clients. This site is very informal and allows me to share a little bit of my personality with you. :)

I know, I know...I don't ever post enough pictures of the kids...so after my friend Candace asked about them and told me I needed to post current pics, I decided to take some of the kids this morning. These were just taken in front of the refrigerator as we were walking out the door to leave so they are very impromptu. My kids won't even look at the camera anymore. ENJOY!

So last weekend I did Keven and Audrey's engagements pictures at Memory Grove. The colors were gorgeous! Keven and Aubrey have been dating for a long time and it shows! They are so comfortable with each other which made my job so much easier. I got some awesome candid shots! I am excited for their wedding in December! ENJOY! Isn't this such a cute smile...

It was exactly three years ago today that Matt asked me to marry him. It was a wonderful day. We went up to Causey and Wayaked up to the mouth of a canyon. He pulled out the metal detector (something he does as a little hobby) and wanted me to try it. We went up the canyon and I started looking under a rock and it started beeping...I looked under the rock and found an old rusted beer can (something he wasn't planning on me finding) so he had to tell me to keep looking and I found a treasure box that he had made with gold on it and opened it to find a small script that read "Melissa, I've searched my whole life for the treasure that is you and Kenyon. You make me as rich as a man can be. I will always cherish you. Love always, Matt." I looked up at him right as he was kneeling down on one knee and he asked me to be his wife. It was so romantic. I am so blessed to have found him! Six months later we were married. Thank you Matt for blessing our lives more than you'll ever know!

Thursday I did Jason and Natalie's engagements and it couldn't have been a more beautiful evening! The fall colors were absolutley gorgeous! I didn't do many with black and white or other filters, just because the colors in every shot were soooo AWESOME! I am so excited for their wedding what a fun couple. I already took Natalie bridal portraits, but you'll have to wait until the big day because we don't want Jason to see. :) ENJOY!!!
